1. About mAImap

mAImap is a mobile application that helps users create and visualize AI-generated mind maps from text or images. The App is suitable for users aged 4 and older. Parents or guardians should supervise young children’s use. We do not operate any website and all processing occurs within the mobile app environment.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process limited information necessary to provide core app functions and maintain service quality.

2.1. Information you provide

Camera or photo access: The App may request access to your device’s camera or photo gallery (“camera roll”) so you can upload or capture images to create mind maps. These images are used only locally or temporarily for generating the result. They are not stored on our servers, nor shared with third parties.

2.2. Information collected automatically

For performance and service improvement, we may collect:

• Device type and operating system (e.g., Android version, model)
• Anonymous installation or session ID
• Crash reports and diagnostics (via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Basic analytics (via Firebase Analytics)
• Ad performance data (if ads are shown)

All such data are non-personal and do not identify individual users.

3. Advertising and Monetization

mAImap may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. We use Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and families-certified ad partners only. These ad networks may use anonymized identifiers (such as Advertising ID) to deliver age-appropriate ads. No precise location, contact, or personally identifiable information is collected or shared.

All ads in mAImap comply with Google Play Families Ads and Monetization Policy, ensuring that:

• Ads are suitable for all audiences (ages 4+)
• No personalized ads or tracking are shown to children
• No deceptive or intrusive formats are used

You can manage ad personalization settings anytime through your device’s Google Settings → Ads → Ad personalization.

4. AI Features and Data Handling

When you use AI-powered features (e.g., generate a mind map from text or images):

• Your input is processed temporarily to generate results;
• The content is not stored, reused, or shared;
• We do not use your input to train AI models;
• Processing follows secure, temporary, and anonymized methods.

5. Children’s Privacy

mAImap complies with the Google Play Families Policy and COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The App:

• Does not ask for user registration or contact details
• Does not access precise location data
• Does not display behaviorally targeted ads
• Does not allow external sharing without user action

Parents can delete all app data simply by uninstalling the App.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not keep personal information on our servers. All user-generated content (e.g., saved mind maps or uploaded images) remains locally on the user’s device. If the app is uninstalled, all locally stored data will be deleted automatically. We do not store any backups or copies on our systems.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to keep your information safe from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All data transfers (if any) use encrypted communication channels. While we strive to maintain a secure environment, please ensure that the images or text you upload are appropriate for educational and creative purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

To ensure reliable performance, mAImap uses:

• Google Play Services – for core functionality
• Firebase Crashlytics – for crash diagnostics (anonymous)
• Firebase Analytics – for usage statistics (non-personal)
• Google AdMob SDK – for showing safe, age-appropriate ads

All these services are provided by Google LLC and comply with Google’s Privacy Policy.

9. Data Retention Period

Non-personal analytics and crash data are retained only as long as necessary for maintenance and service improvement, after which they are deleted or aggregated. User-generated data (e.g., images or mind maps) remain only on your device.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app improvements or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be made available inside the App before taking effect. Continuing to use mAImap after such updates means you agree to the revised Policy.
